1.1. ManagementISDCM Executive Committee consists of 9 (nine) members, President, Vice-President, General Secretary, Treasurer and 5 (five) members. This is the highest body of ISDCM. The Executive Committee has the power and functions, among others as under:
Financial management of the organization based on established rules and on the decision of the Executive Committee from time to time.
To meet financial requirement, ISDCM mobilizes funds from two sources, external and internal. The external sources are from the International donor. Internal sources are the revenues generated through membership fees and loan provided by EC members from time to time. ISDCM has its own financial management system based on experiences from other organizations. Competent Audit Firm authorized by the Bureau of NGO Affairs, Government of Bangladesh, audits the accounts every year and also by its own internal auditing system.
1.2. Panel of Experts
ISDCM policies and programs are developed under overall guidance of a panel of experts drawing from various disciplines and backgrounds. The panel of experts is subject to expansion based on necessity.
1.3. Location of ISDCM Head Office and Branch Offices
ISDCM Head office is located in House # 7/5, Apt. 3A, Block-B, Lalmatia, Mohammadpur, Dhaka -1207. Presently ISDCM has 6 (six) Branch Offices viz. Singra Upzila (Natore), Kaliganj (Natore), Bagatipara Upazila (Natore), Sadar Natore, Dhamrai(Dhaka) and Sadar of Manikganj district and 3 Project Offices Homna Upazila (Comilla), Bancharampur Upazila (Brahmanbaria), Damurhuda Upazila (Chuadanga).
Sources of Funding
ISDCM does not have many sources of funding. It received fund from UNICEF on Arsenic Mitigation and Sanitation project. For Micro-finance activities ISDCM received fund from ASA a biggest National NGO and from CORDAID a Netherlands based donor. During the period under review a number of projects have been submitted to the prospective donors.
ISDCM is the acronym (Integrated Service for Development of Children & Mothers). It is a non-political and non-profit making NGO established in view of the need for integrated service for development of children and mothers in Bangladesh. A group of ex-professional persons who worked with UN agencies, International and National NGOs and GOB for a long time have joined hands and formed ISDCM and began working as a team providing integrated service for development of children and mothers in Bangladesh. ISDCM team has a rich background of UN systems, GOB and NGO operational methods in Bangladesh. Because of long devoted service members of the team have the unique opportunity to establish work relationship with different officials and the community at various levels at ease.
