SPECIAL
VILLAGE SANITATION PROJECT
Special
Village Sanitation Project was undertaken by ISDC M with its own budget.
Effort was made by the field workers specially assigned for the purpose
in addition to normal works. Upto 2007 five villages were covered under
special sanitation project in Singra and Kaliganj areas and in 2008 it has
been extended to six more villages in Natore Sadar and Bagatipara Upazilas.
In these villages mainly the beneficiaries of ISDCM project were motivated
to use sanitary latrines and practice hygienic behaviour. Credit support
was also provided to the beneficiaries to buy materials for sanitary latrines
available with the DPHE production centres.
The progress of work in this particular sector 2008
